Obituary of Marcey Hawkins Rude

Marcey Hawkins Rude Unadilla, NY Marcey Hawkins Rude, 36, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016. She was born on January 21, 1980 in Oneonta. Marcey attended Bainbridge schools where she played volleyball and softball and graduated from Sidney High School with the Class of 1998. On September 13, 2008, she was married to Adam Rude in Unadilla. They shared much joy in their 7 years of marriage. She had an infectious laugh, a bright smile and a friendly personality. She loved to sing and was involved with Tri-Town Theater. She also enjoyed cooking. Marcey and her family attended Circle Drive Alliance Church. For Marcey, time with her family was the most important thing. She was a devoted wife and mother and a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She will be missed by: Her husband, Adam Rude Children: Zoe Rude, 15, Aidan Hawkins-Odell, 11, Thomas Rude, 9, Jonathan Rude, 5 and Emma Rude, 1 Mother, Cynthia Hawkins and Don Wood Father, David Hawkins Brother, Jerry and Talia Hawkins Grandmother, Minnie Whispell Nieces and nephews: Dylan Hawkins, Dawson Backus, Alyssa Hawkins, Damon Hawkins and Skyler Hawkins Aunts and Uncles: Karen and Dave Wakeman, Marylou and Thierry Butler and Bill and Ruth Hawkins Cousin, Scott and Sarah Sastra Mother-in-law, Pamela Perry and father-in-law, Kenneth Rude Brother-in-law, Corey and Julie Rude and family Grandparents-in-law, Steve and Barb Roff and Bobbi Rude As well as many friends Marcey was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Hawkins, and grandparents Richard and Lou Wright, Ray Whispell and George and Nanna Hawkins. Friends may call from 10:00am-12:00noon on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Circle Drive Alliance Church, 6 Circle Drive Sidney, NY 13838. Funeral services will begin at 12:00noon with Rev.
