Connor Patrick Glassett began his eternal journey with his Creator on
Thursday, September 22nd, 2016.
He was born in Binghamton, NY on December 27th, 1994 to Kevin and Elise Glassett.
He is survived by his best friend and sister, Morgan Glassett, his chocolate lab Tobi, Grandmother Barbara Glassett, Godparents William and Theresa Clark, Aunts Ann Marie Schaeffer, Patti Smith, Eileen Keene, Ellen Glassett and their spouses, Michael Schaeffer, Ralph Smith, Brian Keene, and Robert Glassett and Uncle Tyler Rittwager. As well as numerous cousins, friends and colleagues, near and far.
Connor had such a love for life, travel, poetry, music, intelligent conversation, hiking, laughing, mentoring both friends and little children. He was strong in his convictions, but would not judge another for their beliefs. Connor loved spending time with both family and friends, telling stories, cracking jokes and making everyone around him smile.
Connor was a senior at Champlain College in Burlington, VT majoring in Secondary Teacher Education. By the age of 21, he had lived in France, Ireland, and New Zealand, while studying abroad in both high school and college.
The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, September 28th at CH Landers Funeral Home, 21 Main Street, Sidney, NY from Noon to 3 :00 PM and 6:00-9:00 PM. A mass celebrating Connor's life will be held Thursday, September 29th at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 15 Liberty Street, Sidney, NY.
