Joan M. Dunshee
Bainbridge—Joan M. Dunshee, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at her home in Bainbridge.
Joan formerly owned the Midway Diner and the Four Seasons Restaurant, both in Bainbridge, as well as the concession stand at the East Sidney Dam. She loved camping; KOA and East Sidney Dam. She was married to Roger E. Dunshee.
In addition to her husband, Joan is survived by: Charles Dunshee of Bainbridge, Tonya and Rick McFeaters of West Palm Beach, FL, Jerrie Lee Wilson of Sidney, Lavonne Button of Texas, William Carpenter of Albany and Gerald Carpenter of Schenectady; grandchildren: Cassandra, Nico, John, Beth Ann and Cassidy; several great-grandchildren; and her brother, Frank Obermeyer of Washington.
She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Obermeyer.
Friends may call from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, Sidney. A memorial service will follow at 7:00pm at the funeral chapel.
