Obituary of Emily Barnett Ruland

Emily Eileen Barnett Ruland, 17, passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2017 in Coupeville, Washington where she was residing. She was born on March 3, 1999 in Sidney and grew up there. Emily was a vibrant, young, pretty girl with a sweet voice and who loved to sing. She loved nature, animals and loved to draw. Her beautiful smile would light up a room. She was loved by many and missed by all. She is survived by: her husband, Johnathan Ruland; father and step-mother, James Barnett Jr. and Barbara Scott; mother and step-father, Ronda and Richard Landress; siblings: Eva and Erik Landress; paternal grandparents, James Barnett Sr. and Susan Barnett, maternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Ronald Nolan Jr. and Hannah Nolan; maternal grandmother, Janie Nolan; as well as many Uncles, Aunts and Cousins. Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Emily's memory may be directed to the Delaware Valley Humane Society, 101 E. Main St. Sidney.
