Esther T. Heath, Mt. Upton, NY

Esther T. Heath, 88, of Mt. Upton, passed away August 22, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton.

She was born Daughter of late Ulysses and Jennie (Van Kleeck) Townsend in Mt. Upton.

Esther married Wilber Heath, May 27, 1950 in Mt. Upton. He predeceased her March 29, 2003.

She retired from Amphenol Corp. in Sidney and was a member of the Sidney United Methodist Church

and the Unadilla Grange.

Esther is survived by:

Children – David and Kathy Heath, Mt. Upton

Michelle Heath, Binghamton

Grandchildren – Amber Mercurio, Norfolk, VA, Alicia Heath, Sidney

Shanalin Heath, Columbia, SC Darien Heath, Afton, NY

Great grandchildren – Everett Bush, Sidney and Abree Scopo, Mt. Upton

Sister – Eunice Smith, Norwich

Nieces – Nancy Wilson, TN and Darlene Decker, Watertown

Nephews – Jeff Brewester, TX and Tim Haynes, Guilford

Many other nieces, nephews and cousins

She was also predeceased by – Sister, Jane Potter, Brother, Henry Townsend and Nephew, Robert Haynes.

Friends may call Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 10:00 -12 Noon at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will follow at 12 Noon with Rev. Tom Pullyblank officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Mt. Upton.
