Obituary of Carmella "Bea" Briggs

Carmella "Bea" Briggs Sidney- Carmella "Bea" Briggs passed away September 3, 2017 at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born at home in Brooklyn, NY to Bianca & Vincent Cuozzo Sr. Bea is survived by her husband Jack Briggs of Sidney, and her sister Marie Whittaker of Florida. She is also survived by her children: Susan Harris (Patricia McCormick), Helen Harris (Karen Clark), Marie and Scott Gray, Kenny Harris, James and Joan Harris; her grandchildren: Mary Santana, Matthew Richards, Megan, Andrew & Hannah Gray, Vinnie Harris, Tabitha Harris, Samantha Harris, Ashley Harris, Jasmine Harris and great-grandchildren: Anthony & Lexie Santana She was pre-deceased by her mother and father and three brothers, Vincent, Ralph and Charles Cuozzo. Friends may call on Friday September 8th from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 9th at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Stroke Association at www.stroke.org.
