Obituary of Dale S. Baldwin

Dale S. Baldwin, 66, of Bainbridge, NY, passed away March 10, 2018 surrounded by family at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City following an extended illness.

Born August 1, 1951 in Sidney, NY to the late Leroy and Marjorie (Schlafer) Baldwin. Dale attended Bainbridge-Guilford Central School and retired from NYSEG as a field planner in 2009 after 27 years. He loved music, baseball, basketball, football, four wheeling, hunting and spending time outdoors. Family & friends were the highlight of his life.

He is survived by wife, Christine (Lockwood) Baldwin, Son Mark & Crystal Baldwin and granddaughter Stella of Bainbridge, Daughter Kari (Baldwin) & Brooks Ruff "Fluffy" and granddaughters Georgia & awaiting Bexley of Bainbridge, Daughter Chelsey & Mike Paniccia & granddaughter Jordyn of Endwell, Son Lucas Fletcher of Bainbridge. Mother & Father-in law Douglas "Lefty" and Millie Lockwood of Afton. Brothers & Sisters; Murray & Marie Baldwin of Mesa, AZ, Mona & Charles Ingham of Guilford, Bill & Paula Baldwin of New Berlin, Joe & Chris Baldwin of Bainbridge, Kathy & Dave "Big Buddy" Miller of Bainbridge, Bonnie & Rodney Wright of Unadilla, Brother in-law & companion Lance Lockwood & Barb Weeden of Afton, Brother & Sister-in-law Kirk & Julia Lockwood of Franklin. Dale was also survived by 15 nieces & nephews and 31 great and great-great nieces & nephews.

A celebration of Dale's life will be held Saturday March 17th at 2pm at the Sidney American Legion, 22 Union Street Sidney, NY. Celebration attire welcome as follows; St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, Syracuse Basketball, NY Giants Football, Band/Concert Shirts or Green as his favorite color.
