Brigitte C. Mason Sidney, NY Brigitte Claire Mason "Kitty" 66 of Sidney died March 9, 2009 at the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford, NY. She was born June 11, 1942 in Konstantinsbad, Czechoslovakia, daughter of the late Gustav and Melanie (Pittrof) Schubert. She worked for the Village of Sidney at the old municipal hall and later for Jamesway in loss prevention. Brigitte married Jack Mason on February 3, 1962 and they moved to Florida in 1986. In 1993 Jack passed away and Kitty moved back to Sidney in 2004. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting. Kitty is survived by her sons Mike and his wife Lori Mason, Sidney John and his wife Renee Mason of Cape Coral, Florida. Grandchildren - Zachary and Tyler Mason of Sidney and Lauren and Kyle Mason of Cape Coral, Florida Brother and Sister, Peter and Linda Schubert of Dietzenbach, Germany, Marcelle and Marco D'Antoni of Altenhasslau, Germany and several nieces, nephews and cousins. At her request services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney, NY.
