Wallace R. Ireland, Sr. 71, of Bainbridge passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta after a long illness.
He was born October 15, 1948 in Bainbridge to the late Ralph and Florence (Sherman) Ireland.
Wallace was raised by his Uncle and Aunt after the passing of his father in 1960 and worked on several farms throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Rothwell) Ireland
4 sons – Wallace R. (Michelle), Nathaniel S., Deric M. and David C. Ireland
6 Grandchildren – Austin and Aubrey Bronson, Aayden, Andrew, Alisha and Brad Ireland.
Brother, Edward Ireland
Sister, Barbara Burke
Special Aunt, Anethma
and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also predeceased by a daughter, Michelle
Graveside services will be in West Bainbridge Cemetery at a later date.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Wallace
