Beverly P. Gregory, 90, of Sidney, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 19, 2020 at her daughter's home in Walton.
She was born August 3, 1929, daughter of the late Harold and Gladys (Bird) Preston in Binghamton.
Beverly graduated with the Class of 1948 from Sidney Central School and remained close to her classmates.
Her love and concern for her family was priority, as was her love for God. Bev loved to spend time with her children and cherished her pets. She would help the Humane Society in any way she could.
In earlier years she enjoyed cooking and baking. She was known for making the best apple pies.
She spent many hours quilting and sewing as well as making crafts. Bev enjoyed helping out with the Sidney Historical Society.
Beverly was a devoted lifelong member of the United Methodist Church in Sidney where she sang in the choir for many years.
She is survived by: husband, Lester Gregory, Sidney; son, L. Edward (Janie) Andrews, Unadilla; daughter, Gladys (Dean) Frazier, Walton; grandchildren: Jodi Frazier (Dave), Glenville, NY; Tyler Frazier (Kelly) Ballston Lake, NY; Erin Pascarella (Joe), Binghamton, NY; great-grandchildren: Jack and Max Hoyt, Ben Frazier, Tyler and Matthew Rossini, James Pascarella; step children: Diane Gregory (Ralph Rinconis), MA; Cherie Bryan (David), MA; Tatiana Amadon (Brad), Davenport Center; James Ritchko (Tara), Richfield Springs; step grandchildren: Galen Pindell (Kae), CA; Liam Gregory (Nicole), MA; Nathan and Natalie Amadon; step great-grandchildren: Aya Pindell, Lillian Gregory and Phineas Gregory.
She is also survived by many close friends and her beloved cat, Missy; she will be missed by all.
Graveside services will be private and at the convenience of the family in Walton Cemetery.
