Obituary of Leta Mae Williams

Leta Mae (Fisk) Williams, 88 and a longtime resident of Bainbridge, NY entered into Eternal Life at her home on August 6, 2020. Leta was the daughter of Carrie and Theron Fisk born on July 21, 1932.
Leta attended Sidney High School and graduated with the Class of 1950. She immediately went to work for Dr. Fred Rothman, DDS in Sidney, NY and later went to work at Scintilla/Bendix/Amphenol in Sidney and retired from there after many years of service. She married Raymond Williams in 1952. He predeceased her in November 1998.
Leta is survived by two sons: Robert (Carol) Williams from Bainbridge, NY
Allan (Laurie) Williams from Masonville, NY
sister: Joan (Bill) Northrop from Normandy, TN
many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews
2 brothers-in-law: Richard (Ella) Morley
John (Janice) Morley
Leta was predeceased by a grandson, Ryan Williams
2 sisters/brothers in law: Marion (Don) Stead
Flossie (Victor) Miller
Leta is survived by very special friends who have assisted her the last few years, Nancy Brubaker, Nikki Vanvoorhis, Mary Barnes, Jon Pratt and special care giver, Laurie Cardozo.
Leta loved the outdoors, enjoyed gardening (Flowers and Vegetable), loved to camp, hunt and fish and was VERY good at every one of these. She also was an excellent cook.
After her retirement Leta spent a few winters in Florida enjoying the sun and meeting many new friends. She loved the carport get-togethers and the swimming pool. You always knew you could find her at one or the other. Leta enjoyed life and loved to laugh and have fun.
There will be no formal services per Leta's request. Her final resting place will be in the East Guilford Cemetery in East Guilford, NY.
