Donald Louis Phelps 98 of Bainbridge passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 at his home.
He was born July 25, 1922, son of the late Louis and Florence (Arnzen) Phelps in Deposit, NY.
Don served his country in the United States Navy from 1942-1945.
He married Bertha Buchanan on June 15, 1945; she predeceased him on September 12, 2003.
Don was employed by NYSEG prior to retirement.
He is survived by
Son, Dana Phelps, Bainbridge
Companion – Nora Craver, Bainbridge
Grandchildren – Becky (Jason) Seeley, Oneonta
Katie (Charles) Range, Oneonta
Great grandchildren – Liam, Cole and Liesl
Daughter-in-law – Karen Phelps, Oneonta
And many nieces and nephews
He was also predeceased by his Son, Alan and Sister, Lucille Ward
Graveside services will be held Monday, August 24, 2020 at 11:00 am in Greenlawn Cemetery in Bainbridge.
