Obituary of Leo Knowlton Pratt

Leo Knowlton Pratt Bainbridge, NY Leo K. Pratt, 88 of Bainbridge, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 at Chase Memorial Nursing Home in New Berlin, where he was a resident. Leo was born on December 31, 1921, son of the late Floyd and Hazel (Knowlton) Pratt in Afton. On October 26, 1948, Leo married Patricia Follett in Scranton, PA. She predeceased him on August 1, 2007. Leo was a former employee of Borden's Chemical Co. in Bainbridge. He was also an avid outdoorsman: he enjoyed just being outside, as well as working on his family's farm in his younger years and riding tractor. He was a loving husband and father, and a devoted grandfather and great grandfather. He will be deeply missed by those that loved him. Leo is survived by: 2 Sons: Michael and Phyllis Pratt Bainbridge Brian Pratt New Lisbon, NY 4 Daughters: Priscilla Pratt Arizona Patricia Smith Sidney Christine Van Wie Cato, NY Annette Pratt Bainbridge 12 Grandchildren As well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Leo was predeceased by two brothers: Elton Pratt and Elwyn Pratt, and two sisters: Mary Jane Janas and Dorothy Fetterman. Friends are invited to call from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm at the funeral chapel.
