Nancy M. DeGroat, 79, passed away Wednesday November 3, 2021 at her home in Bainbridge.
She was born October 21, 1942, in New Jersey, the daughter of Albert and Jeanette Whritenour. She married Stewart T. DeGroat on April 29, 1962.
She is survived by her Husband Stewart. Her children: Daniel & April DeGroat of Semora, NC, Robert & Kristyn DeGroat of Bainbridge, NY, David & Julie DeGroat of Bainbridge, NY . Grandchildren Michael & Shannon DeGroat, Joshua DeGroat, Samantha DeGroat, Katelyn & William Wetzel, Amber & Mike Davenport, Corbin DeGroat , Alex DeGroat, Jacob Clarke & Isaac Clarke. Great- Grandchildren Owen & Aubrey DeGroat, Sophia, Colton, Karson & Callahan Davenport , Charleigh Wetzel. Sisters, Barbara Miller, Janet Henderson and Kathy Jollie. Many nieces and nephews and extended family members.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, Albert & Jeanette, sisters Peg Whritenour, Carol Burgess & Charlotte Weitz.
Nancy was a wonder with plants and loved to be in her flower beds and garden. Above all Nancy loved her family and all the babies.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
