Carlin Butler, 75, of Bainbridge, passed away on December 22, 2021 at Robinson Terrace in Stamford.
Carlin was born on January 8, 1946 in Oneonta, son of the late Esther (Olds) and Girard Butler.
He served in the US Army and received his Bachelors Degree in Theology. He worked for Breman Trucking in Binghamton as a dispatcher and SUNY Delhi as a janitor. He was also a local theologian.
Carlin loved going canoeing and fishing. In his younger years he enjoyed bicycling and later could often be seen walking in town.
He was predeceased by his parents, Girard and Esther Butler and his sister Debra Sluti. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and John Colburn; brother-in-law, George Sluti; nieces and nephews, and many local friends.
Services will be announced at a later date.
