Virginia L. Compton, 90 of Sidney passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford.
She was born March 4, 1932, daughter of the late John B. and Martha (Zabel) Wagner in Barrington, NJ
Virginia was a member of the Sidney Alumni Association and a life member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Sidney.
She is survived by her husband Alfred
Son, William (Blanche) Compton
Daughter, Kristine (George) Foster
Brother, John (Donna)Wagner
Sister, Martha (Eugene) Weiss
Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews
She was also predeceased by her sister, Joan Ciallelo
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery in Wells Bridge.
