Obituary of Sandra M. Greco

Sandra (Sandy) Marie Greco (Cawley), 63, of Sidney NY, gained her wings unexpectedly at home on Sunday July 17th, 2022. Sandy was born on December 16th, 1958, to Raymond and Beverly Cawley (Mae) in Norwich NY. Grew up in Bainbridge NY, with her brothers Curtis Cawley, Harold Cawley, Raymond Cawley Jr., and Richard Cawley. Sandy enjoyed spending time with her family and absolutely adored her grandchildren. If you knew Sandy- you loved her for her spit fire personality, and determination. She had a giant heart and helped anyone, in any way she could. She had a love for cows, crosses, apple decor and crafting. In her free time you could find her watching one of her favorite old programs and crocheting an item to gift to one of her family members. She enjoyed her pets and loved them as if they were her children. She enjoyed visiting with her two close friends, Sue Crissell and Sandra Nachshon and loved going on outings with them. Through trials and tribulations Sandy always demonstrated a great deal of strength that was admirable and inspirational to her friends and family. Predeceased by her Mother, Beverly Cawley (Mae), Aunt Delilah Holden, Brothers Raymond Cawley Jr., and Richard Cawley, Granddaughter Tiffany Hitt and lifelong Friend Stanley Decker. Sandy is survived by her Children: Michelle Ives (Michael Stewart), Alan K. Greco (Michelle Vermilyea) and Elizabeth Waters (Jerry Parkes), Grandchildren: Kali, Dameon, Bryden, George Jr, Maddi Alizabeth, Madison, Selwyn and Irelynn, two Great Grandchildren Noah and Allie as well as her Father, Raymond Cawley, Brothers Harold Cawley (Lindy Stickler), and Curtis Cawley as well as several Nieces and Nephews whom she absolutely adored. A Celebration of Life ceremony is scheduled for July 30th, 2022 at 1:00pm. The location of this event will be the Sidney American Legion, 22 Union Street, Sidney NY 13838.
