Frederick O. Johnson, 84, of Afton, went home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2023 at Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City.
Frederick was born on September 16, 1938 in Binghamton, NY, son of the late Frederick A. and Elizabeth (Obert) Johnson. He received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine and worked as a Professor of Dental Hygiene at Broome Community College until his retirement. He loved cats and classic cars.
He was married to Barbara (Wood) on May 14, 1966 who survives him. He is also survived by his son, Frederick E. Johnson and a sister, Elizabeth Thallinger.
Friends may call from 3:00-5:00pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Funeral services will follow at 5:00pm at the funeral chapel. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Windsor at a later date.
