Obituary of Karen Sejersen Warner

On Thursday, August 24, 2023, Karen Sejersen Warner of Masonville NY passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by the love of her husband and daughters. Karen was a remarkable woman in life, and kept her ever growing family close to her heart. She was an avid reader, an amazing "home cook," and a lover of all things creative. Her sharp wit and undeniable strength was, and will always be, an inspiration to those that were fortunate enough to have crossed her path. She is survived by her parents, Marie and John Sejersen, her husband, James Warner, her daughters, Katie Blanch (wife of Ian Blanch) and Joanna DeWitt (wife of Bradley DeWitt), her step-daughters Stacey Clements (wife of Andy Clements) and Lucy Warner, and her grandchildren, Aidan, Alexis, Aliya, Caleb and Naomi. At Karen's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead, it was her wish to be cremated and placed at the "Heart Tree". Her family asks that in lieu of flowers or cards, those that wish to honor her can do so by gifting a favorite book to a child, because reading has always been a central part of her life
