Obituary of Kevin S. James

Kevin S. James, age 59, died peacefully in his sleep on March 23, 2024. Born September 20th, 1964, the 5th child to Walter and Carol James. Kevin always had a smile and eagerness to chat with anyone he came in contact with. He had a love for animals of any kind and was always willing to help with them, even if it was the dirtiest job. He loved fast cars, wrestling and building and running derby cars with his brother. If you knew Kevin, you knew he was his brother's sidekick most of his life. Kevin always took pride in working on things and would often say, "I wonder what dad would think, would he be proud?" Kevin could watch Cops marathons, Lockup, or CSI all day every day. He was especially proud of his nephew Dalton for pursuing a career in law enforcement. The last few months of his life, he was employed by Mirabitos in Bainbridge, which he loved and took pride in working there. He enjoyed the new friends he had made. Kevin is survived by his sisters Robin Spensieri, Karin Bowker, Laurin Beers, Sharin James, Marylin Bush, and his brother Jasin James. Several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, father, and grandparents of whom he reminisced of often. A celebration of life for friends and family will follow and be held May 18, 2024, at 3 pm. at the New Hope Community Church in Walton.
