Janet Esther (Phillips) Mahanay died on April 27, 2024 at age 68 alongside her husband of 15 years, Robert William Fox and beloved dog Belle. Janet was born in Cooperstown, New York to Flora and John Phillips. Growing up with her sisters Cheryl Kozlowski and Gloria Dufour, Janet was the youngest.
She moved to Austin, Texas in the late 70s. Janet was a social butterfly. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle and listening to live music with her friends. She was an entrepreneur who owned her own business and built a life in Texas.
She is survived by her only daughter Briana Mahanay.
Her services will be in Austin, Texas on July 13th.
