Frederick Arthur Haynes Jr. (Fred), 73, of Sidney, NY, passed away on his wedding anniversary, July 4th, 2024, at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown.
Fred was born in Jamesburg, New Jersey to Frederick and Adeline Haynes on April 1, 1951. He went to high school at Sidney High School.
Following high school, he went on to work at Bailey's in Walton, NY. He then worked as a Machinist at Amphenol Aerospace for 43 years before retiring 11 years ago.
Fred enjoyed life. He enjoyed golfing with his son, Fred, and playing guitars with Albert. His friends would get together and have jam sessions every couple of months. He also liked going to the casino with the family. He played in card leagues with his wife Dawn. Most of all he enjoyed family, going to grandkids games and the dam to visit family. He loved corn hole every Tuesday at their home where they had tournaments. He will be missed by his dog Blake who he loved dearly. He received the most loving dad award and most devoted Husband award. A favorite grandpa. He was a best friend. He is loved by all that got the chance to know him. He inspired many. My mother and father were and still are in love for 53 years. They inspired us children to have the same love in our lives. I can't say enough about the kind of person my father was and is. He made an impression that will forever leave us heartbroken.
