Thomas A. Reynolds 83, of Sidney Center passed away October 24, 2024, in Basett Medical Center, Cooperstown surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on May 30, 1941, on the family farm in Trout Creek to the late Earl and Glenola (Sherman) Reynolds where he grew up with 7 siblings.
Tom graduated from Walton Central School in 1959 and enlisted in the United States Army in 1960. He served his country and was honorably discharged in 1964.
Tom married his loving wife Sandra Stewart on May 23, 1964, in Masonville. Together they raised 4 children.
As a young man, Tom worked 2 jobs; Borden Chemical Co and delivering fuel for Don Boyd.
Later, he worked for Stow Manufacturing in Binghamton for 20 years, retiring in 2003. After retirement Tom and Sandy spent their winters in Zephyrhills, Fl.
Tom loved collecting and refurbishing old toys and bikes. He enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and the NY Yankees.
Tom was best known for giving away anything that wasn’t nailed down and could often be found on his front porch hoping for a visitor.

He is survived by his wife Sandy,
Children – Tommy “Bomber”, Kristie, David “Red” (Bonnie), Tracy (Carl) and Brandon,
Grandchildren – Lindsey (Brian) and Madison (Tyler) French and Amanda Newell,
Great grandchildren – Olivia and Natalie Schmitz, Corbin Cash,
Brother – James (Bert) Reynolds,
Sisters – Louise (Friend) Decker, Jeanie (Tim) MacCumber,
Brother-in-law – Roger (Kathy) Stewart,
Sister-in-law – Ruth Reynolds,
Very special friend, Guy Hromada,
Several nieces and nephews.
Tom will be missed by many people.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 1:00pm in Highland Cemetery in Sidney Center.
