Robert (Rob) Page, 66, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2024. at the home he shared with his wife and soulmate Pamela (Roach) on Pine Hill, Unadilla. Robbie was born in Cooperstown, NY on May 25,1958 to Betty (Rowley) and Alfred Page. He attended Cooperstown Central School where he met some lifelong friends. He loved to share fond memories and tales of his growing up years in this beautiful lakeside community. Family heritage was a source of pride and conversation with Rob with ancestors dating back to the early settlers in the U.S. Rob recently retired from New York State Department of Corrections where he served many years as a chemical addiction counselor at Elmira Correctional Facility. He was always an avid sportsman, starting in his school days ranging from football, ice hockey and to his great talent in track where he held a Cooperstown High School long-term record for track in the 100yard dash. He also enjoyed skiing, kayaking, camping, 4 wheeling and bon fires with his good friends. But Rob's 1st passion was the game of golf where he loved spending many leisure hours on New York golf courses. He and Pam had a great love for music and attended many concerts through the years. Since his retirement he also enjoyed the sport of rock climbing with his sister Bonnie. Rob recently joined the staff of Bainbridge-Guilford School District as a substitute teacher. He always took joy in being around students or adults and helping them learn. Pam and Rob's newest outdoor interest is a pop-up camper where they had great plans awaiting summer fun. Rob was a caring, supportive man, known as a great storyteller with his ease of friendly conversation and sense of wit and humor. He enjoyed quality time with his wife Pam and their beloved lab Bogey, his loyal and best buddy. His love of animals included their fur baby cats and the bird flocks around their woodland home. Rob is survived by his wife Pamela (Roach) Page, sister Bonnie K. Ives, (Gary Hobart) Fly Creek, NY; sister Donna (Edward) Archey of Michigan; nephew Joshua (Nancy) Ives; niece April Ives (Donald Rulison); Nephew, Derek Archey and wife Jennifer and their children James, Abigail and Daniel Archey, Brian Archey & Anthony Martinico.
