Patricia Anne Rose Watson Hamilton, 85, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024. She was born on March 7,1939 in Delhi, NY to Josephine (Lockwood) and Richard V. Watson. She was raised in Delhi, Oneonta and Sidney attending Delaware Academy, St. Mary's School and graduated from Sidney Central School class of 1957. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Paul Joseph Hamilton, Sr. whom she married on September 20, 1958. She is also survived by her immediate family: sons Paul J. Jr (Amy), Michael D. (Anna) and daughter Kathleen M. Brown; grandchildren: Paul Hamilton III, Jeffrey (Stephanie) Brown, Amanda (Rick) Robinson, Danielle Hamilton (Jeremy), Heather Brader (Ben), Kaitlyn Hamilton-Fischer (Ashley), Natalia Legname, Caio Legname.; great grandchildren: Alexis, Madalyn, Camy and Mason Brown; Aiden, Bryce, Chase and Hadley Robinson: Lincoln Brader, Hazel Jackson. She is survived by: her siblings David, Margaret and Roberta Bohigian; half-sisters Linda Watson Smith and Darlene and her nephew and niece Matthew and Kala Bohigian; cousins Thomas (Cindi) and Nicholas (Karen) Smith, Rita (Rick) Cornell. She was predeceased by her parents Josephine and John (whom she considered Dad) Bohigian, Richard Watson (her birth father), infant brother Joseph Watson and half-brother Richard Watson and God Daughter Theresa Kelderhouse. She was also predeceased by her grandson Matthew D. Brown with whom she shared a love of history. While her children were young, she went back to school to become a nurse, working for Fox Hospital Nursing Home and her favorite job as a hospice nurse for Chenango County. She was also a bookkeeper at Scintilla and in later years for her husband at Tri Town News and Sidney Favorite Printing. Her interests were varied: camping, dancing, sewing quilts and clothing and needlework. She also loved gardening and reading. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church where she was an LEM and past vice president of the Rosary Society. She was a member of the Mother's Club (1960s) and the MacDonald Hose Aux (past secretary). She was also the past president of Sidney Fire Dept Aux. She was active in the Sidney Girl Scouts as a leader and Day Camp nurse as well as a den mother for the Boy Scouts and advisor for the Co-ed Explorer Post. Calling hours will be Sunday, January 5th, 2025 from 1-3 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, Sidney, NY. Funeral services will be on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 11:00 at Sacred Heart Church, Sidney.
