Walter Steele 75 of Sidney passed away Monday, February 28, 2011 at home with his family.
He was born May 12, 1935, son of Leonard and Mae (Rosengrant) Steele in Horton, NY.
Walter served his country in the United States Army from November 30, 1953 and was honorably discharge on November 29, 1961.
He married Jacqueline Jones on November 11, 1982 in Liberty, NY
Walter was a dedicated member of the Sidney American Legion.
He is survived by:
Wife: Jacqueline Steele, Sidney
Son and daughter-in-law - William and Jessica Steele, Sidney
Grandchild - Trystin Steele, Sidney
2 brothers and a sister.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
