Obituary of Clifford June Palmatier

Clifford J. Palmatier, Jr. Afton, NY Clifford J. Palmatier, Jr. "Junior" 69 of Afton passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at his home. He was born June 3, 1942, son of the late Clifford Palmatier, Sr. and May Cummings in Colchester, NY. Junior married the love of his life Donna Riley on March 18, 1961 in Afton. He was a teamster construction driver for 30 years when he retired. Junior also founded the Afton Well Drilling Co. which is now owned by two of his sons. He was an honorary member of the Afton Fire Department and was known for his helping hand, smart wit and wise remarks. Junior loved spending time with his family, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Donna, Afton Sons - B. Bodie Palmatier, Afton Jeff (Lisa) Palmatier, Guilford Jim (Ann) Palmatier, Afton Bart (Christa) Palmatier, Afton Special Aunt Skeet Grandchildren - Jessica, Lyndsay, Brandon, Daulton, Sierra, Jenna, Courtney, Mason Great Grandchildren - Salena, Alex and Vanessa Graveside services will be held Monday, October 17, 2011 at 1:00 PM in Glenwood Cemetery in Afton. Donna Steckline, Hospice of Chenango County Chaplin will officiate.
