Obituary of Catherine Pedraza

Catherine Pedraza Mt. Upton, NY Catherine Pedraza, last residing at the Chenango Memorial Nursing Home in Norwich, NY, died on Tuesday morning, December 6, 2011. She is survived by a daughter, Jane Pedraza of Mt. Upton and two sons: Pedro, Jr. and Paul Pedraza, both of New York City. She had 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Catherine was born and raised in New York City and moved to Mt. Upton approximately 30 years ago to retire with her husband, the late Pedro Pedraza, who came from Puerto Rico at the end of World War II. Catherine did volunteer work at the Sidney Public Library for many years and was a member of the Mt. Upton First Baptist Church congregation. Memorial services for Catherine will be performed at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Upton on Thursday, December 15th at 6:00pm. Pastor Gerry Bovee will conduct services.
