Mark Freyer 44 of Sidney passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta.
Mark was born October 18, 1968 to Martin and Joyce (Laing) Freyer in Walton.
He graduated from Sidney Central School with the Class of 1987. After high school Mark was employed by S&W Concrete of Deposit until 1988 when He sustained traumatic injuries from an accident. Mark continued to foster close relationships with his family, friends and caregivers. Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, campfires and NASCAR as well as spending time with his nieces and nephews. Despite many obstacles and challenges, Mark maintained his charismatic personality and great sense of humor.
"To know him, is to love him.. He will be greatly missed."

Brothers, Martin Freyer, Jr. and his wife Joan
Michael Freyer and his wife Barbara
Sister - Patricia Rude and husband Jeff
Nieces - Chariese (Freyer) Medlar, Jessie (Rude) Charles, Abigail Freyer and Hannah Freyer
Nephews - Joshua Rude, Matthew Freyer, Dylan Freyer, Cody Rude and Alexander Rude.
Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
Mark's family wishes to thank the caregivers from various agencies for Mark's wonderful care. They also wish to thank friends, family and many others for their support through the years.
Friends may call Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 7-9 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 12, at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Chapel with Rev. George Herrick of the Masonville Federated Church officiating. Burial will follow in Masonville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Masonville Emergency Squad or the Masonville Federated Church.
