Ellen Marie Wallace, 48, of Delhi, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown. Ellen was born on December 14, 1964, daughter of the late John and Florence (O'Connell) Wallace in Passaic, NJ. Ellen moved to the tri-town area a couple years earlier to begin employment at SUNY Delhi, where she enjoyed her work as a chef.
Ellen was loved and will be missed by: her partner, Peter; her son, Gregory Schnepf; five siblings: Susan Donegan, Patrick Wallace, Jane Wallace, Amy Wallace and James Wallace and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and countless more grand-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ellen was predeceased by a brother, John Wallace.
A memorial service will be held in Ellen's home town in New Jersey at a later date. If one wishes to make memorial donations, please contact Ellen's family. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family online at www.landersfh.com.
Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, Sidney.
