Charlotte H. Laraway, 98, of Sidney, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Hampshire House Adult Home in Oneonta where she has resided the past three years. Charlotte was born on May 8, 1915, daughter of the late Clarence A. and Harriet A. (Lewis) Hurlburt in Harpursville, NY.
On August 7, 1937, she married Raymond Laraway in Afton, NY. He predeceased her on July 14, 2007.
Charlotte was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Sidney.
She is survived by:
Son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Mary Ann Laraway of Gilbertsville, PA
Daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Neil Gregoire of Ft. Pierce, FL
Sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Henry Egli of Sidney
In addition to her husband, Charlotte was predeceased by two sisters, Frances Pratt and Dorothy Cummings.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Sidney. Condolences may be directed to the family online at www.landersfh.com.
Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney.
