Erna W. Babcock 86 of Sidney passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at her home.
She was born October 18, 1927, daughter of the late Fred and Fanny (Haller) Wuthrich, Sr. in Switzerland.
Erna worked for many years as a secretary for Bates Insurance and Trudy's Shoes in Sidney.
She enjoyed the outdoors and puttering in her yard.
Erna is survived by her son and daughter-in-law - Jason and Lisa Babcock of Sidney.
She is also predeceased by her Brother, Fred Wuthrich, Jr. and 2 sisters Dora Lang and Trudy Baker.
Friends may call from 12 Noon to 2:00 PM on Friday, January 31, 2014 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Pat Robinson, Pastor of the First Congregational Church in Sidney officiating.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Delaware Valley Humane Society 101 East Main St. Sidney.
