Obituary of Sherri Lyn Cutting

Sherri L. Cutting Masonville, NY Sherri Lyn (Tevyaw) Cutting, 46, of Masonville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown. Sherri was born on August 6, 1967, daughter of Joseph and Paulette (Belanger) Tevyaw in Warwick, Rhode Island. She graduated from West Warwick High School, RI. She worked as a Certified Nurses Aide at Riverview Nursing Home in Coventry, RI, and most recently at the Masonville Quickway where she knew everyone. On February 1st, Sherri was married to Zachary Cutting after five years together. She loved music, especially country, and adored her dogs, Bella and Harry. She was an amazing person, sweet and kind to all, with a great sense of humor and a love of laughter. She had a caring nature and a soft spot for children and the elderly. Despite a lifetime of health issues, Sherri remained positive and strong. She is survived by: Her husband, Zachary Cutting Her children, Jessica Cahoone, Nate Cutting and Megan Cutting Her parents, Joseph, Sr. and Paulette Tevyaw Brother, Joseph Tevyaw, Jr. and his companion, Lisa Brother, Paul Tevyaw Grandmother, Virginia Tevyaw As well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Sherri was predeceased by her grandparents: Yvonne Desrosiers, Maurice Belanger, Sr. and Harold Tevyaw. Friends are invited to call from 3:00-5:00pm on Monday, March 10, 2014 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main Street Sidney. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Northeast Kidney Foundation, 501 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205.
