Nancy Francisco, 79, of Sidney, peacefully passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Wilson Regional Medical Center in Johnson City with her loving family by her side.
Nancy was born on July 20, 1934, daughter of the late William and Anna (Baier) Boardman in Cobleskill, NY. She graduated from Sidney High School with the Class of 1952. Right out of high school, she became a legal secretary for Bill Phelps in Sidney, which later became Eaton, Griffith & DeGroat. She retired in 1991. Nancy also was an Avon representative for 42 years.
On December 28, 1968, she was married to Bruce R. Francisco. They shared 45 years of memories together, including 14 happy summers they camped at Belvedere Lake. Nancy was a former member of Tri-County Kiwanis Club, where she and Bruce enjoyed McDonalds pancake night. They also enjoyed going to the casinos together. She loved crocheting, donating many blankets she made to different nursing homes. She liked to watch the NY Mets, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
Nancy had a quick smile, an infectious laugh, a great sense of humor and a heart of gold. She was dearly loved and will be truly missed.

Several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by two sisters, Marian Arone and Marjorie Lewis, and her beloved dog, Dusty.
Friends are invited to call from 2:00-5:00pm on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, June 23rd at the funeral chapel with Rev. Tom Pullyblank officiating. Burial will follow in East Guilford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Tri-County Kiwanis Club. Condolences and memories may be shared with Nancy's family online at www.landersfh.com.
