Roger Rieman Bainbridge, NY
Roger Rieman, 52, of Bainbridge, passed away quietly and surrounded by some of his loved ones, on Monday, June 16, 2014 at Wilson Regional Medical Center in Johnson City. Roger was born on February 17, 1962, son of Thomas and Ruth (Mills) Rieman in Sidney. He was a graduate of Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton High School.
On June 23, 1984, Roger was married to Lori Michaletz at the Unadilla Rod & Gun Club. He worked at various jobs through his career, including Bordens Chemical Company for 25 years, DCMO Boces in Trout Creek as a custodian and most recently for Valley Ridge, CIT Direct Care Staff in Norwich. He wasn't afraid of hard work and put in many of hours.
Roger was a gifted craftsman and woodworker; he even built his own home. He enjoyed deer hunting, both gun and bow, 4-wheeling and just being outdoors. He also enjoyed antique vehicles. Roger and his wife Lori enjoyed and loved their family consisting of several dogs. Roger had many friends and co-workers and also enjoyed spending time with them.

Roger was predeceased by his beloved dog, Sage.

Friends may call from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney. Graveside services in Glenwood Cemetery, Afton, will be private and at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Chenango SPCA, 6160 County Road 32, Norwich, NY 13815.
