Obituary of Wilburna H. Wahlberg

Wilburna (Bernie) H. Wahlberg Bainbridge, NY. Wilburna "Bernie" Wahlberg died on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the age of 93 at the Norwich Rehabilitation Center. She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Beatrice Holbert, brothers, Floyd and Victor, sister, Phyllis, and husband, Gunnar. Bernie is survived by three sons, Eric (Maureen - deceased), Victor (Coralyn) and Mark, and grandchildren, Nikole, Matthew (Laura), Todd, Adam, Sara, Adrian (Tim) and Dorian (Johnny), and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Clara Wahlberg and Joanne Holbert. She had a full life including travel, bowling, golf, ambulance squad, board of elections, reading and her favorite thing was playing cards. Thank you to the staff at Norwich Rehab for the loving care you gave her. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Guilford Fire Department, Guilford, NY 13780. There will be no formal funeral service. There will be a reception at the Sidney Elks Lodge, 104 River Street, Sidney, NY, on January 3, 2015 from 2 to 5 PM.
