Obituary of Beverly Jean Coons

Beverly Jean Coons Sidney, NY Beverly Jean Coons of Sidney passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at her home after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born May 6, 1937, daughter of the late Jess and Nellie (Smith) Hoffman in Walton. Jean married David W. Coons on November 5, 1955 in Walton. He predeceased her on October 5, 2011. She is survived by her loving children, Vickie Evans and her husband Patrick, Cindy Carey and her husband Rick, Laurie Dimura, David Coons, Jr. and his wife Ginny and Jeffrey Coons. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Jennifer, Chase, Nicole, David, Phillip, Joshua, Erin, Matthew, Jessica, Jeffrey, Jr. and Haven. Ten great grandchildren, Celeste, Mason, Dakota, Cameron, Trevor, Zach, Alissa Mae, Harper, Claire and Abigail. Brother, Ralph Hoffman, Oxford And several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jean was also predeceased by a brother, Carlyle Frank Hoffman. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Rev. Carl Butler of Pines Brook Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Trout Creek Cemetery In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org
