William E. Deering of Sidney, NY passed away on October 15, 2015 at the New York State Veterans Home, Oxford, NY. William was born on March 17, 1924 in Utica, NY to William and Catherine (Hartmann) Deering.
Bill retired from Bendix Corporation (Amphenol), Sidney, NY. He was a member and former president of the Algonquin Antique Car Club.
Bill is survived by his daughter Patricia Brown (Ray), his son William (Kathleen) and three grandchildren, Liam, Sean, and Maura, and a sister, Isabella Bregnard. Bill was predeceased in 2007 by his wife, Evelyn (Aiken). He was also predeceased by sisters Mary, Bette, and Rosemary.
Per Bill's request, there will be no services. Burial will be in Sylvan Lawn Cemetery in Greene at the convenience of the family.
