Aunt Nora was a true treasure and such a great lady! She was always up for an outing with her sisters.
The first photo is from her grand niece’s wedding just after we detangled her glasses from the brides veil. It’s Lisa Striegler Thies favorite picture and brings back happy memories and laughter. The next 2 pictures are from this past August when the cousins got the 3 sisters together. I found the other pictures while going through old photos when my dad, Corky Striegler, passed last year.
Aunt Nora was loved and admired for her Afghans and other knit/crocheted goods, her cream puffs were amazing, and we all enjoyed her beautiful paint by number pictures. She was so proud she could bake a cake for Tom’s 70th birthday! She mastered email at an advanced age and kept in touch with many of us. (Even the ones in Iowa and Hawaii) In the past few years I have enjoyed her bragging about her great grandchildren as I showed her photos of my grandchildren.
I’m sure a new bright and sparkling star now looks down on us. West Bainbridge and the McGowan cousins mourn with the Craver Family and pray you can feel the support we are lifting up in our prayers.
